Patchy weather meant that many local farmers couldn’t get their own work done. This allowed a large contingent to turn out to the first South West Grassland Event for Masons (of Chudleigh) and Kings Farm Machinery (of Exebridge). Just off the busy M5 motorway at Cullompton the site afforded us a large area of second cut grass to demonstrate the potential of Pöttinger equipment to the 400 farmers that attended.
In between rain showers the demo team proceeded to mow, ted, rake and harvest at times very wet grass. Despite the less than ideal conditions the Pöttinger demonstration went without a hitch handling this lush grass with ease.
It was great to meet many existing Pöttinger users and also several prospective purchasers throughout the day and we look forward to this event becoming a regular fixture in the South West
